Parkland road is a double-storey, semi-detached property under London Borough of Redbridge Council. The existing property is a spacious 3 bed house. The design brief was to increase the functional spaces on the ground floor creating room for a WFH (work from home) office space, a guest WC, an utility area, and a casual living area. By eliminating the internal walls between the dining room and kitchen, the space now becomes an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space. On the first floor, the bedroom and bathroom extends over the ground floor wrap around extension. The roof accommodates a proposed loft conversion, changing the hipped roof to a gable end to incorporate a rear dormer. It includes space for one double bedroom with direct bathroom access up the stairs.
