The proposed ground-plus-three-storey building features a tapering design that integrates brick and industrial styles with a focus on sustainability. It uses a 45-degree angle to preserve natural light and ventilation for neighbours, with angled windows to prevent overlooking. Each floor steps back 300mm, ensuring unique views. The building will have 12 units (10 HMOs and 2 studios) with communal kitchens on the ground and second floors. Each HMO exceeds Harrow’s guidelines, offering en-suite bathrooms, ample storage, and larger spaces. Amenities include on-site laundry, a library, and individual Wi-Fi. Security features biometric access, combination locks, sprinklers, CO2, and smoke alarms. The front gate provides bin access, and a 15 sqm plant room on the third floor houses hot water tanks and fuse boards.
